Nuevo tiempo /New time

Todo llega.

La enfermedad también anda rondando

como promesa íntima e informe

que anuncia que la espera ya ha cesado.

Todo llega, dicen los que hablan

en nombre del consuelo desafiante,

la enfermedad anda también, todo llega

formando parte del tiempo que aún no es.

Espera la llegada de todo

como regalo para guerrera en pie

que ve que llega, que sí, que es tiempo nuevo:

de enfermedad.

The disease also hovers around
like an intimate and shapeless promise
that announces that the waiting has already stopped.
Everything comes, say those who speak
in the name of defiant consolation,
the disease also walks, all comes,
forming part of the time that is not yet.
Wait for the arrival of everything
as a gift for a warrior on her feet
who sees that it arrives, that yes, it is a new time:
of illness.
